Longmen Ancient Town is located 52 kilometers southwest of Hangzhou City, on the south bank of the Fuchun River, is the “Fuchun River – Xin’an River – Qiandao Lake” tourism line on the national AAAA level attractions. “The ancient town was named after Yan Ziling, who traveled to Longmen Mountain in the Eastern Han Dynasty and praised the beautiful scenery of the mountain.
Longmen Ancient Town is the largest natural village in Fuyang District. More than 90% of the villagers in Longmen are the descendants of Sun Quan’s family, the great emperor of the Three Kingdoms East Wu, and over the centuries, through the construction of various houses from generation to generation, from the settlement of a large family, the ancient town is formed today.
The architecture of the ancient town is centered on two Sun Clan Ancestral Halls, with a total of more than 40 Sun halls, 3 brick pagodas and 1 ancient tower and 1 temple. The village is famous for its unique Ming and Qing ancient architectural complexes, which is now a relatively well-preserved mountain town in the Ming and Qing ancient architectural complexes in the south of the Yangtze River.

【Inkan Pond】
A vast expanse of clear water, gently flicked by the wind, ripples, water plants, birds and fowls are dotted in between, making it more spiritual. It is named because it is shaped like an ink stone among the four treasures of ancient China, indicating that reading is the greatest hope of the family.
【Longmen Stream】
The entire Longmen Stream is distributed in the shape of “S”, in the middle of the ancient town, running north-south through the village, and the people live along the stream, so Longmen Town is shaped like a Taiji diagram. If you get lost in the millennium maze of Longmen, you only need to find Longmen Stream and follow the water down to get out of the ancient town. The water of Longmen Stream comes from Longmen Mountain, and the mountain spring water is crystal clear.
【Sun Clan Ancestral Hall】
The oldest ancient building in Longmen. It is an ancestral hall, mainly used for family meetings, celebrations and ancestor worship. In front of the main gate of the ancestral hall, there is the “Men Dang Tuo Pai”, in front of the gate, the left and right opposing drum stones are the Men Dang, which represents power, and the 12 small columns protruding from the lintel are the Tuo Pai, which represents wealth.
【Gongbu】
is a Ming Dynasty brick gatehouse with a history of more than 600 years. It was built in honor of Sun Kun, the 41st descendant of Sun Quan, who served as the minister of the Ministry of Public Works in the Ming Dynasty and was responsible for supervising the construction of more than 80 huge ships for Zheng He’s voyages to the West, and was the hero behind Zheng He’s voyages to the West.
【Yi Gate】
The representative building of Dragon Gate was built during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, with a history of nearly 500 years. Yi means loyalty and righteousness, and this gate was built in honor of Sun Quan’s 45th generation descendant, Sun Chao, who was known as the richest man in seven counties at that time, and the God of Wealth with his left foot on gold and his right foot on silver.
